About SIVA

Our Background

A sanctuary for self-love, self-care, and self-development.

At SIVA, we believe yoga is more than movement — it’s a path to inner peace, well-being, and a deeper connection with yourself. Our studio offers inclusive classes for all levels, guided by experienced instructors who support your growth on and off the mat.

Beyond yoga, we host wellness workshops in meditation, breathwork, sound healing, and more — all designed to nourish your mind, body, and spirit.

Whether you're beginning your journey or deepening your practice, SIVA is here to help you reconnect, recharge, and rediscover yourself.

Yoga has given me a new perspective on life — one rooted in gratitude, humility, and continuous growth. Even after nearly a decade of practice, I’m still evolving. Yoga has supported my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being in profound ways, and becoming an instructor has allowed me to share that journey with others.

My approach to teaching is guided by personal experience. I draw from my own path of healing and self-discovery, blending intention, mindfulness, patience, and compassion into every class. I believe in honoring each body’s unique voice — because true growth begins when we learn to listen within.

SIVA was created as a space for connection — where you can come home to yourself and experience the deep healing that yoga offers. Whether you’re just starting or deepening your practice, this is a place where you are welcome, supported, and seen.

Yoga is healing — and if you are healing, you are already doing yoga.

I used to view yoga as just a form of physical exercise. I thought that if I were to practice yoga, I could become stronger and more flexible, so that I would be able to do all those beautiful poses I see on Instagram and social media. However, the more I practiced yoga, the less I obsessed over the poses. Instead, I found appreciation in being able to better understand myself (my body, my breath, and my mental state) during each practice.

Yoga allows me to slow down from the busy world outside, so that I can tune in with myself each day. It shows me my physical limitations, and it humbles me. It teaches me to be grateful for what I can do and what I can achieve through consistent practice. It allows me to be compassionate to myself, so that I may be compassionate to others. Ultimately, my yoga practice becomes a time for self-reflection so that I can be a better version of myself.

I hope that SIVA can create a community where people will be able to share their experiences with yoga, and that this will transcend into beautiful connections beyond the studio space.

I know someone who likes to post yoga photos on IG, and they look beautiful and sexy. I was interested in trying it out, but found that my body was too stiff to do the poses. So, I became interested in learning yoga and started practicing it. Through continuous practice, I found that I enjoyed it and learned that yoga is not just about making our bodies flexible, but it also helps with our mental health, breathing, and overall well-being. Yoga has many benefits for individuals, especially for those who suffer from back pain due to their jobs, such as sitting for long periods of time. After practicing yoga, I have noticed significant improvements in my overall well-being.

I want the younger generation to become more familiar with yoga, as it can improve their image, health, and mental well-being. They can also apply yoga to their daily lives. I hope they find SIVA as a place to start their journey.

Yoga Instructors

Yoga is much more than just improving our physical strength through asanas.

While the physical practice is important, it is the Yamas and Niyamas that bring significant impacts to our mind and soul. These principles guide us in how we interact with others and serve them better in our daily lives outside of our yoga practice.

Our experienced instructors bring a unique and positive energy to their classes, and we hope you'll have the opportunity to experience yoga with a deeper level of understanding and connection.

As you practice, remember to remain flexible and bend a little so that you don't break.
